一名PSP用户（ Rafael Bernard）发了一封电邮到Square-Enix提到他发起的网上请愿，希望Square-Enix能在PSP上发行《王者之心》。而目前为止已有1,700签名， 但Bernard 提及他计划会收集大约18,000签名。然后，他收到了Square-Enix子公司的回信：

Our parent company, Square Enix of Japan, has no current plans to create a sequel to Kingdom Hearts at this time. This is not to say that it will never happen, it's just that their development teams are currently focusing on numerous other projects, Namely Final Fantasy: Crisis Core and a few others.
我们的母公司，日本Square-Enix目前为止没有任何计划开发《王者之心》的续集。但是，也不能完全否定以后不会发生，只是现在开发小组正忙着其他一大堆项目，譬如说《危机核心：最终幻想7》和其他等等。

但是，不知大家还记不记得Tetsuya Nomura曾经提到他们正为《王者之心》系列准备特别的游戏，但是不会是续集。所以，我还是深深地期待PSP会有幸能拥有《王者之心》。
